Look Out!
Here they come … I got dusted and nearly knock over
as these four black blurry streaks thundered by me. I did
cover my lens before being sprayed by flying trail bark.

Puget Sound waters on Orcas Island at West Beach Resort.
This water is a steady 52º to 53º Fahrenheit, (11 Celsius) in the Summer. Luckily the air temperature was around 85º Fahrenheit, (29 Celsius) when Rosie exits the frigid blue waters.
